COUNSELING: HIV/AIDS MEDICAL CARE MANAGEMENT: Paige Parish, BSW As a Ryan White Grant appointed social worker, Paige is a full time on-site social worker specialist. She is assigned to work with our 500+ HIV/AIDS patients as a cooperative venture with The TN AIDS Centers of Excellence Project, Nashville's Comprehensive Care Center, and Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. In her third year as an HIV/AIDS Clinical Specialist and Medical Care Manager, previously in Columbia TN and recently in Nashville, Paige knows all the "ins and outs" of TNCare and Managed Care access. She very efficiently arranges drug prior approvals, provides housing assistance guidance, nutritional guidelines and assistance to obtain free supplements, access to Nashville CARES' programs, arrangements for dental care, transportation for medical visits, etc. Paige actively participates in the TN AIDS Consortia, TN AIDS Centers of Excellence Project activities, and maintains yearly CME credits for HIV/AIDS training. She is completing her Masters in Social Work at Middle Tennessee State University. She loves bubble gum and Strawberry Liquorice.
